On August 31, 2023, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the National Health Commission and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine released the Catalogue of Health Functions Allowed for Health Food Claims Non-Nutrient Supplements (2023 Version) and supporting documents. Within 5 years from the date of release, the non-nutrient supplement health food that has been registered and filed is regulated in accordance with the Measures for the Management of the Catalogue of Health Food Raw Materials and the Catalogue of Health Functions and the Catalogue of Health Functions Allowed for Health Food Claims Non-Nutrient Supplements (2023 version).
