On March 6, the General Administration of Customs (GACC) issued the Announcement on Inspection and Quarantine Requirements for Imported Mongolia Dairy Products (GACC Announcement No. 23 of 2022), allowing the import of Mongolia dairy products that meet the relevant requirements from the date of the announcement, which also announced the relevant inspection and quarantine requirements.

According to the Provisions on the Administration of Registration of Foreign Enterprises Producing Imported Food, overseas producers of dairy products may import their products only after they have been registered with the GACC. So far, more than 2,800 enterprises, covering 51 countries and regions, have been registered. The list of registered overseas enterprises can be found on the website of the GACC.
