Q: What are the requirements for imported health food record qualification documents?
A: According to the relevant requirements of the Administration Measures of Registration and Filing for Health Food and the Guidelines of Health Food Filing (Trial Implementation):
(1) Issuing institution: the certification documents issued by overseas institutions should be issued by the competent government departments or legal service institutions of the producing country (region). The original of the certification documents should be sealed by the issuing unit or institution or signed by its legal representative (or its authorized person).
(2) Issuing content: it should be listed item by item in accordance with the specific requirements of Item 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3 in the Guidelines of Health Food Filing (Trial Implementation), and no item should be missing.
(3) The certification documents issued by overseas institutions should be notarized by the notary office of the producing country (region) and confirmed by the Chinese embassy and consulate in the host country, and notarized by the notary office in China. If the certification documents specifies the period of validity, they should be used within the period of validity.
(4) The qualification certificate for the record of imported health food should be in the official word of the producing country (region). If the official word is not in English, the English translation of the certification documents should be provided, which should be notarized by the notary office of the producing country (region) and confirmed by the Chinese embassy and consulate in the host country.
