It indicates that applicants should complete the change within 3 months from the date of approval. After the change, applicants should stop using former formula and labeling, and report relevant situation to the local administration for market regulation departments. The products, which were produced before the replacement of products formula and labeling, can be sold until the end of shelf life.

Previously, on May, 2019, SAMR has issued the Reply on the Replacement of Food Formula and Labeling after Change Registration of Infant Formula Milk Powder Recipes, the requirements are the same with foods for special medical purpose that applicants should complete the replacement within 3 months from the date of approval, and the products, which were produced before the replacement of products formula and labeling, can be sold until the end of shelf life.
