And the use of compound sources of nutritional fortification substances should meet the requirements of Appendix B in GB 14880. The manufacturer enterprises can use the approved nutritional fortification substances of “formulated milk powder (for pregnant and lactating women intended milk powder only)” and “formulated milk powder (for children intended milk powder only)” in the corresponding liquid products (such as formulated milk for pregnant and lactating women and formulated milk for children), the usage amount should be converted according to the corresponding dilution factor.
For nutrients that have been specified in GB 14880 for use in formulated milk for pregnant and lactating women, such as folic acid, they are still subject to GB 14880.
